During Jamie’s time as Product Feature Editor across the Mayne Media stable of magazines — including What Tradies Want, Building Contractor Magazine, Landscape Contractor Magazine, and ArborAge Magazine — AEG Power Tools’ range was heavily featured. Jamie leveraged his vast network of tradies, particularly across Sydney and the Northern Beaches, to authentically showcase AEG tools in action. The success of this collaboration stemmed from working with real tradies on top-tier job sites, demonstrating each tool’s features in practical settings. Using multi-angle cameras, slow-motion footage, GoPros, and drones, these videos captured the tools’ capabilities in the most engaging way. As well as producing and directing these videos, Jamie also hosted and featured in them, helping to bring out the best in tradies who were not used to being in front of the camera. Over nearly 10 years, Jamie produced over 50 videos for AEG, creating compelling content that highlighted their products and educated the trade audience
